what is your hobby? What are your hobbies? this is my suggestion for a future question to be asked here. Even if you dont have a hobby, it never hurts to ask, right?...
ResponderExcluirI reckon having a hobby is very important for us. For our minds. Having a hobby is doing something with commitment and passion, but without the pressure of a job or the rules of stablishment. Maybe if you are very successfully practicing a hobby you can turn it into a career. So, choose your hobby and go ahead!

I think we should do an activity on the talents of people. Each group would elect a personality and list the talents and defects of them. Then we could create a fictional character, give a name and assign qualities and defects. I think we could develop our vocabulary, and interact with colleagues!

I think we should talk about some little videos from youtube. You could choose one from any part of the world and make us talk about and discuss ordinary things like accents, for example.

Think in English!
ResponderExcluirAbout a month ago, I was surfing on the internet looking for some sites that could help me to practice more the language, when I found the “inglesvip” (it’s a very cool site. You should try!) I read a very-very interesting text (the address is in the end of the post). The idea of train your brain to think in English is a fantastic tool. I felt challenged! It really works!! It’s working to me. Today I associate not only simple words, but many expressions that I can use frequently everyday.
Do you want to train your brain to?
Do want to be challenged?
Think about it! But think in English! =)

I think we could talk about subjects that teach us something besides English. It means.. teach us about the U.S.A culture or about other culture. So, we can enrich our vocabulary and something more :)
ResponderExcluirTo increase vocabulary: We could talk about different expression with same meaning.
We could indicate books, videos or sites that help us to improve our english.
My suggestion is this website: www.eslpod.com
It is a website of podcast in english and the narrator is very clear in his explanation of new vocabulary. It's a great website!
