How should we behave at the cinema?

Hi, guys! On wednesday, 3A students talked about how people should behave in different situations. I was checking some videos on youtube and I found this one from Mr. Bean.

For those who don't know, "Mr. Bean is a British comedy television series (...) starring Rowan Atkinson as the title character. The first episode was broadcast on ITV on 1 January 1990.
Based on a character developed by Rowan Atkinson at university, the series followed the exploits of Mr. Bean, described by Atkinson as 'a child in a grown man's body' in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causing disruption in the process. The show has been sold in 200 territories worldwide, and has inspired two feature films and an animated cartoon spin-off."

HOW SHOULD WE BEHAVE AT THE CINEMA?
Don't forget to use can; is/are allowed to; must; have to; should and the negatives if necessary. ;)

  1. There are many rude people who don't have a good behavior at the cinema. In this place we must not talk, but people don't respect this!
Everyone knows that you should turn off the cell phones or put in silent mode, but nobody does it. And now people even began to take photo inside the cinema. It's an absurd!!!
I really think that people need to be more conscious and they must respect the rules of places!

  2. People don´t have education in the movies, talking on the phone, talking loud, taking pictures ...It´s an absurd! Who is going to the movies know that watching the film and then talk about the movie with people, not during the session.

  3. Civilized people should respect others. And when we're at the movies, we should be quiet, turn off the cell phone, not smoking, and especially not be making comments about the movie.

  4. I love going to the movies. I go to the cinema every week.
Unfortunately there are people who can not respect the rules. They are rough people who do various kinds of noises, made comments about the movie, do not turn off their cell phones …
When we are at the cinema we should be in silence , on time , turn off the cell phone and keep the area clean.
We should respect the rules of a good social coexistence.

  5. Inside the cinema is not allowed to throw popcorn at people (behavior most commom among teenagers), yelling (even if you are watching an horror movie) or put your feet on the seat of another person. You must turn off the cell phone or put it in silent mode and, if it's very necessary to answer it, you should leave the movie theater to pick up the cell phone. You shouldn't leave the movie theater all the time (other people want to see the movie!). You can't talk about the movie during the session (when the movie is over you can comment on it at will!).
It's important that rules are respected by everyone in any public setting. Only in this way the social life is possible.

  6. The last 2 times I went to the movies was due invitations from my mother... she is excitated about the recent brazilian movies with spiritism theme. I couldnt say no and its a pleasure for me. But the last time there was a kid with his parents sitting behind us. The kid seems to be 6 years old and was yelling, making funny noises and asking silly questions to his parents all the time. He shouldnt be there, it wasnt a film for kids. My mom was going crazy and I was trying to calm her down. I know my mom and I know how she use to behave in this kind of situation... sometimes I looked back and I could see the dad putting his hands on the kid's mouth. Weird situation. I asked my mother to change places and we went sit far from this family, but not without she saying loudly and angry "it's an absurd! this is not a film for kids!" The audience supported his complaint, everyone was bothered about that kid. So... maybe a minimum age could be apllyied for some movies in order to avoid it.

  7. The cinema is a public place, so we should adopt some rules. Not allowed to talk during the movie and the cellphone must be off. Then, if everybody respect the rules, we can watching a good movie.

  8. KKKKKKKK first of all: DO NOT SCREAM WHEN YOU SEE A PRETTY FACE ON THE SCREEN!!! Seariously! It's horrible!
    Another thing:
I hate when a mobile rings during the movie. People could respect each others a little more...
And if you are at the cinema just to make out, make sure you'll be far from anybody, because it's embarassing to be by a couple doing such that thing!

  9. I think that we should behave according to the kind of movie. For example, in comedy movies we smile, in romantic movies we loved, in drama movie we cry, in terror movies we scare. But in the cinema we have some rules that should adopt like we not allowed to smoke, no use cellphone, no speak up.

  10. Very good video. Mr. Bean is Mr. Bean. He’s very very funny. The context is very interest because is a reality. There are many people inconvenient in the world. I believe because the education of people are very different. This different can decrease with investiment of the government in education. Thinking in a analysis more complex. I believe also that this is a question of limit and respect the space of others. That’s consequence also of education.

This is my vision about the vídeo.

Yesterday I was watching Ayrton Senna in Salvador Shopping and was very peaceful. The people were calms.

    Hug for all,

  12. There're many inconvenient people in the world. I think that we must respect the other people because we aren't watching the movie alone. if we are at home this is totally different.

  13. You should remember that you're not the only one who wants to watch the movie. Come on, you have a whole life to talk after the movie, you can shut your mouth while watching it. And keep your feets on the feet on the floor, not in the seat in front of you.

  15. Cinema, and every public place, requires a good manners. You must respect the other people. They paid to be there like you, they have the same rights as you.
So, don't put your feet in the seat in front of you, don't speak loudly and don't disturb peoples to watch the movie. Of course you can laugh at the funny parts or scare in scenes of suspense. You should avoid doing what is not expected to do.

So, if you go to the cinema, PLEASE just watch the movie and let the other do the same!

  16. I love cinema, but I prefer to watch movies after 22h.

Rarely I go to cinemas before this hour. In the last time that I went to a cinema it was 19h and it was really boring, because many people were screaming and saying bad words.

In this time I couldn't pay attention in the history.

that's the reason of my preference.

  17. I guess in the cinema our behavior should be in respect to the others who are also there.
So we can´t speak loudly and we can´t answer cell phones. To not disturb the others, we must not stand up. If anyone is accompanied by children, these should also avoid making too much noisy! Because of this, I prefer to get the sessions to adults or after 22h!

  18. Above, all already talked about how to behave in the movie theater room and to comment on this would be redundant.
But there is also the outside: the purchase of the ticket and entry into the room. PEOPLE MUST RESPECT THE QUEUES!!!! And here is very common don't do so.
And people shouldn't leave an empty chair between two groups, it is rare someone go to the movies alone.
